Updates

February 20, 2021 – Winter Plan

Round 1 treatments begin next week. Focus on weed and crab grass prevention by applying pre emergents, focus on feeding dormant lawns with high nitrogen fertilizer, and focus on existing weeds with post emergent herbicides. Call me for weed control and fertilizer services.

April 15, 2020 – Spring Plan

All high-nitrogen fertilizer should already be applied. Focus on weed control, cutting no more than 1/3 of the grass blade/per mow, keep mower blades sharp, and water deep and infrequent. I recommend cutting tall fescue at 4″. Call today if you need help with growing or mowing!

January 18, 2020 – Winter Plan

Prep for a beautiful spring/summer yard starts SOON! Pre-emergents for crab grass, broad leaf weeds, and other hard to control weeds should be applied once ground temps hit 50 F. Call today for a quote on your turf treatment plan. Begin applying fertilizer in February-March.

Green Advantage was formed in 2019 to serve residential and commercial clients of Archdale, NC. The company was initially started when Justin Percival, a local nursing home Administrator, began landscaping for the facility he managed. A common friend introduced Cameron Winfrey to Justin and the Green Advantage team. Cameron helped with mowing and landscaping work. Justin was presented with a new opportunity and could no longer give Green Advantage the time and dedication he once did. Justin was deciding what to do with the company: sell, dissolve, or transfer ownership. In January 2022, Cameron reached out to Justin about attending church with him. Justin took this as a sign, that he was making the best choice. Ownership of Green Advantage was transferred to Cameron.

With a strong work ethic and desire to do perfect work, Cameron will care for Green Advantage customers for years to come! focus is to provide an excellent service, while staying small and local.
